Porsche 911 GT2
The Porsche 911 GT2 is the most advanced 911 homologated for the road ever. Its 3.6-litre, horizontally-opposed six-cylinder engine with biturbo technology is capable of producing an impressive 530 bhp (390 kW) at a speed of 6,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 680 Newton-metres or 501 lb-ft. From a standstill, the 911 GT2 can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and even reach a top speed of 329 km/h (204 mph).
Full of character yet supremely efficient, the Porsche 911 GT2 has a low-slung spoiler lip at the front and a rear wing, all while maintaining its signature silhouette. Thanks to its lightweight chassis (1,440 kg or 3,175 lb) and a superior drag coefficient of Cd = 0.32, the sports car has an impressive fuel economy with just 12.5 litres/100 km of premium plus fuel (equal to 22.6 mpg imp) in the composite EU test.
A world-first achievement for the 911 GT2 is the expansion intake manifold technology which makes use of the cooler expansion phase of the air. It has its own unique geometry and an exhaust gas turbocharger with variable turbine geometry operating at a maximum pressure of 1.4 bar, resulting in an additional 50 bhp compared to the 911 Turbo.
