Porsche 964 Speedster
Between 1992 and 1993, Porsche produced 930 964 generation Carrera Speedster models which featured a sleek design. An additional 15 vehicles equipped with a wide turbo body were also manufactured. The Speedster had a redesigned soft top that made it easier to open and close by hand. The locking mechanism of the large plastic cover at the back of the car was also improved. The cars added two cool visual touches to it: bucket seats from the 911 Carrera RS painted in the car's colour and special leather upholstery. When it was first launched in February 1993, the Porsche 964 Speedster retailed for 131,500 marks however, buyers had to forgo air conditioning, electric windows, and initially even airbags.
