2007 brings even more exciting news for Porsche's award-winning drop-top, the Boxster S. Now powered by the 3.4-liter flat-Six engine from the Cayman S which offers an impressive 295 horsepower rating, the Boxster S now boasts improved torque curves, greater fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. The Boxster also receives a revised version of the 2.7-liter Boxer mill, rated at 245 horsepower - a mere 5 less than the original Porsche Boxster S. Both sport Porsche's VarioCam Plus variable intake-valve timing and lift system for enhanced performance.
Further extending the features list are a Tiptronic S automatic transmission, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), a repositioned service tray, and optional 19-inch wheels from the 2007 911 Turbo.
