Porsche Boxster RS 60 Spyder
The new Porsche Boxster RS 60 Spyder is an ode to the iconic Porsche sports cars of the 60s. It reflects the legendary mid-engined two-seater sports racing car which scored its first overall victory in the 12 Hours of Sebring, USA in 1960. This new edition of the mid-engined Porsche Boxster roadster was presented at the 2007 Bologna Motor Show in Italy.
Featuring distinctive GT Silver Metallic paintwork with contrasting natural leather interior in Carrera Red, this special version of the Boxster S also boasts 19-inch diameter Porsche SportDesign alloy wheels, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), dual tailpipes, bespoke gear lever, stainless steel door trim strips, black windscreen surround, GT Silver Metallic instrument dials, and centre console, seat backrests and roll hoops all finished in GT Silver Metallic. It has an output of 303 bhp.
The Porsche Boxster RS 60 Spyder is limited to 1,960 examples, each one proudly bearing a silver-coloured plaque on the lid of the glove compartment. With an estimated cost of £45,400 including VAT, deliveries in the UK and Ireland begin from March 2008.
