The Porsche Cayene Turbo packs an incredible punch with its dynamic power and energetic drive throughout its speed spectrum. The facts speak for themselves: the Cayenne Turbo accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h or 62 mph in a mere 5.6 seconds, reaching a top speed 165 mph or 266 km/h. The 4.5 litre V8 engine is fitted with two exhaust gas turbochargers, an intercooler and generates an impressive 331 kW or 450 bhp at 6000 rpm, with an astonishing maximum torque of 620 Newton-metres or 459 lb-ft between 2250 to 4750 rpm. It is no surprise that the high power of the turbo engine requires special transmission to handle it – the six-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, offered as standard. Porsche's philosophy also offers additional options such as manual gear shifting via a set of paddles on the wheel.
In addition to the incredible performance, the Cayenne Turbo offers an enhanced level of stability with its improved chassis structure and air suspension. The front axle is the new double-track arm axle resting on a subframe, and the rear is an elaborate multi-arm configuration with an extended travel length for more offroad capabilities. The engine stage cooling allows for a maximum trailer weight of 3.5 tonnes (braked).
