The second generation of the Porsche Cayenne has entered the market with a powerful statement. Its bold exterior, highlighted by brand-new headlights and wider, muscular wheel arches, sets the tone for the upgraded features. Now boasting direct gasoline injection technology, all three models offer increased engine power: 290 bhp (213 kW) for the six-cylinder and 385 bhp (283 kW) for the eight-cylinder. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo is now equipped with a 500 bhp (368 kW) engine.
In addition to the enhanced performance, the new Direct Fuel Injection and improved aerodynamics result in reduced fuel consumption and a drag coefficient of Cd = 0.35. The improved speed capabilities are significant, with the Cayenne reaching a top speed of 227 km/h (141 mph), the Cayenne S reaching 252 km/h (156 mph), and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo a maximum speed of 275 km/h (171 mph).
