The Porsche Cayenne GTS is the most sporting and dynamic model in the Cayenne Range, boasting a specially developed chassis and suspension combination. It is the first Cayenne to offer a powerful combination of steel springs and PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) - a combination previously only available to Porsche sports cars.
New intake system and more power
At the heart of the Cayenne GTS is an eight-cylinder normal-aspiration engine with Direct Fuel Injection (DFI). Featuring an upgraded and enlarged intake system, the 4.8-litre engine produces an impressive power output of 405 bhp (298 kW) at 6,500 rpm and 500 Newton-metres/369 lb-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm. For an even sportier and dynamic response, the Cayenne GTS comes with an integrated Sports Button as standard.
For supreme performance - six-speed transmission and all-wheel drive
The six-speed manual gearbox - also as standard on the Cayenne GTS - transmits power to the wheels efficiently. For improved agility and performance, the final drive ratio has been reduced from 3.55:1 to 4.1:1 and PTM (Porsche Traction Management) all-wheel drive maintains optimum power distribution across all four wheels. In this way PTM ensures a high standard of active safety when cornering at high speed or driving in slippery conditions.
