The Porsche Cayman S Sport is the latest edition of the classic coupe segment sports car. Launched in November 2005, the Porsche Cayman S quickly became the benchmark in its category, and this Sport version takes things a step further. Developing over 300 bhp from its 3.4-litre flat-six engine, this high-performance model is a sight to behold, offering 911 GT3 RS-inspired exterior colors like Orange, Green, Black, Guards Red, Speed Yellow, and Carrara White, plus optional Arctic Silver Metallic, black-painted alloy wheels, exterior mirrors, air intake grilles, and the all-important black graphic designations along its sides. The interior adds to its aggressive character with a black design package, alcantara finish on the gear shift, handbrake lever, and the rim of the steering wheel, and a unique, circular instrument display without the usual binnacle above. Standard Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), 19-inch SportDesign wheels with 5 millimetre spacers, bi-xenon headlights, Sports Chrono Package, sports seats in leather, and sports exhaust system with twin tailpipes all add to its notable look and power. Each car also bears its edition number on a glove box plaque, and is limited to an exclusive series of 700 units worldwide. The Porsche Cayman S Sport went on sale in the UK and Ireland on September 13, 2008, priced from £49,890, and customers can also take advantage of the Porsche Driving Experience course.
