Porsche Panamera S Hybrid
The Porsche Panamera S Hybrid is the latest development in the company’s “Intelligent Performance” program. It has managed to surpass full hybrid production cars of its class in terms of fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions, while still presenting the luxurious, sporty character that has become synonymous with the Gran Turismo series. Unlike other hybrids, the Panamera S Hybrid has a range of about two kilometres (1.24 miles) on electricity alone, and a “sailing” mode that allows a disengagement of the engine at speeds up to 165 km/h (103 mph).
Visually, the Porsche Panamera S Hybrid has plenty of defining features. Distinguishing itself from other models of the Gran Turismo series are its “hybrid” and “Panamera S hybrid” badges on its front doors and rear. The luxury sedan also comes standard with an adaptive air suspension, PASM adaptive damping control system, Servotronic, and a rear wiper. The inside of the car showcases innovative displays that provide information regarding hybrid-specific driving conditions.
