Renault Clio RS
The new Renault Clio RS 200 EDC, Clio RS Trophy and Clio GT-Line pack a punch, offering the latest advances from Renault with the expertise of Renault Sport. Patrice Ratti, CEO, Renault Sport Cars said, "The new Clio RS provides drivers with the full Renault Sport technology package to ensure unbridled driving pleasure from the get-go." Customers have three choices for their chassis and two engines; the 200 and 220hp respectively. What makes the Clio RS stand-out in its segment is the exclusive exhaust line, power output, and chassis selection.
The 200hp engine is available in the Cup or Sport chassis while you can opt for the 220hp engine if you choose the Trophy chassis, which is fitted with 18-inch wheels and lowered by 20mm at the front and 10mm at the rear. The 220hp engine reaches a top speed of 235kph with 0-100kph in 6.6 seconds and 400m from a standing start in 14.5 seconds.
For added safety and security, the Clio RS packs in Renault Sport's innovative RS VISION multi-faceted LED lighting technology, seen originally on the Clio RS 16 concept car. This system coordinates fog lights, cornering lights, side lights, shiled lights and main beams to improve visibility in the night.
At the front, drivers will find a specific front bumper for a broader look, and the car is further distinguished with an 18-inch wheel selection, sporty spoiler, functional diffuser and twin exhaust tailpipe, finished off by the iconic C-shaped rear lights.
To reinforce the connection between the track and the road, the Clio RS comes with additional equipments such as Launch Control, the RS Drive system, the RS Monitor application as well as hydraulic compression bump stops developed by Renault Sport.
