Renault Wind Concept 2004 posters

Renault Wind Concept

The Renault Wind was a concept car designed and released by French automotive manufacturer, Renault. It made its debut at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, and was a 2+1 roadster known for its exceptional performance.

The engine

The engine of the Wind was an inline-4 that boasted 136 horsepower (101 kW) and 141 pound-feet (191 N·m) of torque. Its top speed and 0-60 mph time are not known publicly, but its speed was widely acknowledged.

The design

The Wind's design was similar to other performance Renault models, such as the Clio and Mégane. Inside, the steering wheel and pedals assemblies were adjustable and folded away automatically when the door opened, making it easier to climb in. The Wind was about 10 centimeters longer than the Clio, but surprisingly spacious for a roadster.
