The Renault-Nissan Alliance has signed agreements with several states and regions, which will lead to the mass marketing of electric vehicles from 2011. Renault ZE Concept is Renault's vision of this form of transport as an efficient, user-friendly and zero-emission car. Taking the Renault Kangoo be bop as its base, Renault ZE Concept has been adapted to reduce energy consumption while also including modern comfort features. Additionally, in order to optimize energy management, special attention has been paid to improving the energy consumption of auxiliary functions such as lighting, heating and climate control. This electric vehicle is powered by a 70kW motor and lithium-ion batteries. With a length of 3.95m and a height of 1.85m, Renault ZE Concept is highly manoeuvrable in and around town.
