Rinspeed Roadster Concept 1995 posters

Rinspeed Roadster Concept

This concept car was built in a limited number, reflecting the spirit of the times and the nineties design trends. Its body unites classic shapes from the sixties with modern elements making it look bold and dynamic. The aerodynamic frame is made of aircraft quality aluminum and stainless steel, while the projector headlights and the free-standing front fenders create a clean exterior. The car features a suspension with unequal length double wishbones upfront and a live axle at the rear, with custom shock absorbers from Koni. The engine, transmission, brakes and rear axle are taken from the Ford Mustang, and two engine options are available: the base version with 218 HP and the "SC-R" with a supercharger for 305 HP and 570 Nm torque at 3'400 rpm. The Pirelli P Zero's in the dimension 225/40-18 in the front and 295/35-18 in the rear wrap the three-piece chromed aluminum wheels. The interior uses exclusive leather upholstery, a Pioneer CD-changer, a Momo steering wheel and a Nokia C232 mobile phone. The luggage is personalized and supplied by the De'Shama design company. Burg Design provided custom labels and decors for the body and the interior. The RINSPEED Harley-Davidson "Rock'n'Roll" is inspired by the Roadster concept and is intended as the perfect vehicle for two, using an array of elements of design, colors and materials to create a unique blend between a car and a motorcycle. Its projector headlights and chromed billet aluminum pieces from Arlen-Ness, Pro-One and KüryAkyn offer a custom look, and the wheels are chromed and fitted with Pirelli tires.
