Rinspeed Splash Concept
The Rinspeed Splash is an innovative concept vehicle, combining a hydrofoil design with an amphibious capacity. With a maximum speed of 45 knots on water and nearly 200km/h on land, the Splash is powered by a 750cc two-cylinder turbocharged engine that burns natural gas, creating 140hp at 7000rpm. Despite being lightweight - only 825kg - the Splash can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in an impressive 5.9 seconds. It debuted at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show and sadly, is not set for production.
