Rolls-Royce 200EX Concept

Rolls-Royce 200EX is the latest experimental car from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. It has been designed with a dynamic and modern look for the 21st century and engineered to showcase innovative components, exterior and interior designs. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has a long history of releasing experimental models, with the first - 1EX, built in 1919 - and the most recent being the 100EX, unveiled in 2003 following the relaunch of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars under BMW Group ownership. Its successor, the 101EX, was presented two years later as a modern coupe and they have both influenced the production models of today. "Modern automotive engineering is a balance of creativity, innovation and application. Rolls-Royce 200EX is an opportunity to assess these new ideas," states Helmut Riedl, Director of Engineering. Unlike concept cars, this experimental car operates unlike any other, making use of leather, wood and metals rather than clay and foam.
