Saturn Outlook
Saturn has unveiled the all-new Outlook crossover SUV at the New York International Auto Show. This model offers seating for up to eight and has carlike driving characteristics combined with the capability of a traditional SUV. It's contemporary styling is a representation of the new face of Saturn design.
Engineered for style, size and capability, the Outlook is the latest addition to Saturn's product lineup, joining the Sky and Sky Red Line roadsters, Aura sedan, and Vue Green Line hybrid which are all available in showrooms this year. The Sky is already on sale.
As Saturn General Manager, Jill Lajdziak puts it, "Saturn's portfolio of vehicles has never been broader, more diverse or more refined." Outlook provides a luxurious blend of features, including a body-frame integral design which allows for a lower step-in height and spacious interior. It is also equipped with a Smart Slide second-row seat feature for easy access to the third row of seating, capable of seating adults comfortably.
Under the hood, Outlook features a fuel efficient GM 3.6L V-6 VVT engine with variable valve timing for smoothness and low emissions. The XR model (with dual exhaust) can produce an estimated 267 horsepower (199 kw) and 247 lb.-ft. of torque (335 Nm) while the single-exhaust XE model is rated at 265 horsepower (198 kw) and 244 lb.-ft (331 Nm) of torque. Outlook is powered by a Hydra-Matic 6T75 six-speed automatic transmission and is available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive models.
