Scion, of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., unveiled its first limited-production model of the year - the xB Release Series 5.0 (xB R.S. 5.0). This limited edition xB will be available at dealerships starting in February 2008.
The 2008 xB R.S. 5.0 comes with an eye-catching Gold Rush Mica exterior paint, a KenStyle® body kit, distinct Release Series wheel covers, and a moonroof - a first for the xB. Additionally, for an extra touch, drivers can order a color-keyed rear spoiler.
Inside this limited edition model, there's a Gold Rush Mica accented interior trim and color-tuned seat fabric. Plus, a unique numbered badge is included to underscore the model's exclusivity.
Only 2,500 units of the xB R.S. 5.0 will be built, at an MSRP of $2,470 above the base xB price of $15,650 for manual transmission models, or $16,600 for those with automatic transmission, plus an optional $320 for the color-keyed spoiler. Delivery, processing and handling fees for all Scion models is $620.
The xB R.S. 5.0 will also be on display at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
