Scion xB RS 5.0
Scion, a brand of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., recently revealed that the new xB Release Series 5.0 (xB R.S. 5.0) will be available in dealer showrooms starting February 2008. The 2008 model features specific exterior elements, including Gold Rush Mica paint inspired by the xB shown at the Chicago Auto Show, a KenStyle® body kit, Release Series wheel covers, and a moonroof - the first of its kind for the xB. There are also color-keyed rear spoilers available.
Inside, the xB features exclusive Gold Rush Mica-accented trim, along with color-tuned seat fabric and numbered badging. There will only be 2,500 of the xB Release Series 5.0 produced. The manual transmission version has a base MSRP of $15,650 and the automatic transmission edition is priced at $16,600. The color-keyed rear spoiler carries an MSRP of $320. The delivery, processing and handling fee for all Scion models is $620, however, this fee for vehicles distributed by Southeast Toyota (SET) and Gulf States Toyota (GST) may vary.
The 2008 xB Release Series 5.0 is set to be showcased at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
