Seat Ibiza 2.0

The SEAT Ibiza is a supermini manufactured and sold under the SEAT brand by the Volkswagen Group. This model was originally crafted by Giorgetto Giugiaro, well-known for having designed the Volkswagen Golf. Its design is based on the Volkswagen Polo 6KV and its predecessor, the Volkswagen Golf mk3 chassis. Mk. 1 (1985-1993) The Mk. 1 Ibiza was largely modeled on the Fiat 127/Ritmo/Regata and featured a powertrain that had been jointly developed with Porsche. Unlike its Fiat ancestors, the Ibiza debuted with an innovative exterior design dreamed up by the aforementioned Giugiaro. Though it had good interior space, the car lacked in terms of build quality and reliability. In 1999, Nanjing Motor obtained this initial version and incorporated it into their own car designs: the Nanjing Yuejin Eagle and 2004 Soyat. Mk. 2 (6K & 6K GP01) (1993-2002) The Mk. 2 model was the first released by the Volkswagen Group and was based on the involved chassis of the Volkswagen Polo 6KV (and consequently, the Volkswagen Golf mk3). When launched, this version generated a bit of confusion surrounding its brand identity, perceived by some as a cheap knock-off of the VW Polo. However, some well-publicized Cupra models and racing successes gave the car a much sportier image that aligned with Škoda's status as a budget-focused brand.
