The SEAT Design Centre in Martorell created a comic-book hero fantasy come to life when they invented the SEAT Ibiza Vaillante, a one-of-a-kind vehicle. The goal was to represent a fictional car being transported to a make-believe world, where the driver encounters unexpected adventures. Unfortunately, SEAT doesn't plan to manufacture a production model or sell it in the future. This virtual car was specifically made for the motor show to emphasize SEAT's youth and sporty image, drawing attention to the launch of the new Ibiza 2006 range.
Visitors of the SEAT stand at the Geneva Motor Show were welcomed by this fantastical car, which was derived from the new Ibiza design – as if this could have been the first compact car driven by the famous comic-book driver Michel Vaillant. By incorporating SEAT's fiery spirit and sporty character – and the image of the comic-book hero, whose fame had spread through the decades – the designer team transformed the Ibiza into an exaggerated version of a comic-strip fantasy.
