Touting the Fabia rally car, Škoda has commenced testing a prototype prepared in accordance with the regulations for the Super 2000 category. The vehicle is based on the second-generation Fabia and boasts a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, a six-speed gearbox, and four-wheel drive.
Dr. Eckhard Scholz, Škoda's Head of Technological Development, commented: "We are delighted to have started testing the Fabia Super 2000. We aim to enhance and certify the car this year, enabling not only national but international applications as well. Furthermore, we plan to provide the car to private teams - if they so desire - with customer service and development support from our importers worldwide."
