The Skoda Octavia RS 4x4 is no ordinary car - strength, emotion, comfort, optimum functionality and generous space all encapsulate this power pack of a car. Making its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, the all-wheel-drive feature is offered for the Octavia diesel 2.0 TDI/135 kW (184 PS) combined with a six-speed DSG transmission, on top of the adaptive Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) and the integrated wireless smartphone charger which have never been seen before in a Skoda.
"The Skoda Octavia RS has been a huge success; the delivery of the sporty hatchback and estate variants have gone above and beyond our expectations," said Christian Strube, Skoda Board Member for Technical Development. "By introducing the first all-wheel-drive Octavia RS, we've added a new, breath-taking top-level variant to our RS range, which further demonstrates our capabilities when it comes to all-wheel-drive technology," concluded Strube.
Since its launch in 2013, over 71,800 vehicles have been delivered, and more than half a million 4x4 Skodas have been sold since the first four-wheel-drive Skoda Octavia Combi arrived in 1999. The Octavia RS, both as a hatchback and an estate, is a great combination of sportiness and practicality, but it also exemplifies Skoda’s 115 years of excellent motorsport history.
