The smart fortwo edition red is a sporty two-seater that will be showcased at the Paris Motor Show from 28 September to 08 October 2006. It is the last special model before the fortwo successor model is released in the spring of 2007.
Since its market launch in October 1998, the current smart fortwo model has been a hit with customers, resulting in production being increased at the start of this year. With more than 750,000 vehicles sold so far, it has become a cult classic.
The smart fortwo edition red promises to live up to its name with a 55 kW (75 bhp) BRABUS engine and features like 16-inch alloy wheels, a front spoiler, and a sports rear muffler. The distinctive red color is applied to the vehicle’s tridion safety cell and bodypanels, creating an alluring and sporty look.
