Fuji Heavy Industries Inc. (FHI) recently unveiled their all new Subaru Impreza (U.S. Specifications) at the New York International Auto Show from April 4 - 5 (Press days) and April 6 - 15 (Public days). The public can expect to see the third-generation Impreza hit the market around the world this summer.
Bearing in mind the product concept of comfort, the Impreza incorporates a sophisticated design and a rich interior with enhanced space and comfort. The Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, powered by the Horizontally-Opposed engine, also ensures a safe and pleasant ride.
Advanced Core Mechanism
Designed around the core concept of performance combined with safety and environmental considerations, this Impreza has been re-engineered to offer a stronger body construction, chassis, and drivetrain than its predecessors. The double-wishbone rear suspension reduces shocks from the road surface, while a lowered center of gravity (Heightened by the Boxer engine) ensures improved stability. For additional active safety, the Impreza is fitted with the option of Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC).
