Subaru has developed the fifth-generation Legacy with their core technology of Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) with a Horizontally-Opposed (BOXER) engine and built upon the product concept of "Grand Touring Innovation", offering a comfortable passenger compartment, excellent environmental considerations and unique driving performance and safety.
For the past 20 years, the Legacy series has followed the philosophy of grand touring, continuously aiming for "Better distance, better comfort and better safety" while evolving and improving to fit with the times. The new fifth-generation Legacy package includes a new Subaru CVT (continuous variable transmission), Lineartronic™ and a new engine cradle system, which have created an advanced total vehicle performance.
