Subaru of America, Inc. unveiled the all-new 2009 Subaru Legacy Concept at the 2009 North American International Auto Show. Marking the 20th anniversary of the Subaru Legacy, this concept car highlights the vehicle’s sporty design and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system with a Horizontally-Opposed Boxer engine. With a wheelbase of 108.3 inches, the Subaru Legacy Concept maximizes interior space to offer comfortable seating for four adults.
The overall design of this Legacy Concept emphasizes the theme of "Presence". Its powerful wheel arches highlight the dynamism of Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, and its sharp lines give the vehicle a sense of strength. Notable features include wedge-shaped Side Rear Vision Cameras, a “Ultimate Silver” paint job, a rich grille design incorporating Subaru’s iconic central wing motif, and an angular air intake with slim, vertical fog lamps.
