Subaru of America, Inc. is proud to announce the 2018 WRX STI, delivering performance, comfort, design, and safety enhancements that make for a superior driving experience. The refreshed WRX STI will be available at Subaru retailers starting spring 2017.
The Subaru WRX STI has been updated with a bold new front fascia that speaks to the model's sporty nature, featuring a larger lower grille opening and LED Steering Responsive Headlights that provide improved visibility when driving during the night. Additionally, both trims now have roof rack mounting brackets for added convenience.
To further improve the car's handling, the 2018 STI has been fitted with a revised suspension and Direct Center Differential Control All-Wheel Drive (DCCD AWD) system with electronic control. Plus, the 19-inch alloy wheels make the car look even more powerful and come with improved 245/35R19 tires that boost cornering capability.
The STI also boasts a significantly enhanced Brembo Performance Brake System, with monoblock 6-piston calipers in the front, monoblock 2-piston calipers in the rear, and larger drilled brake rotors all around that ensure better heat dissipation. These are complemented by new brake pads which boost braking feel and resist fading. The STI Limited is especially appointed, with exclusive Recaro seats that are available as an option for the base trim.
