Suzuki Kizashi 3 Concept

At the 2008 New York International Auto Show, American Suzuki Motor Corp. proudly revealed its latest concept, the Suzuki Kizashi 3. This stunning athletic design marks the completion of the acclaimed Kizashi series. Concepts Kizashi and Kizashi 2 were previously revealed in North America and Europe, respectively, and the debut of the Suzuki Kizashi 3 Concept signified Suzuki's intent to turn it into a production car. The entire Kizashi series was developed by Suzuki's Advanced Design Group, seeking to express the dynamic motion of an athlete in motion. Taking cues from the strong and honed physique, the design evokes the power, performance, strength and style of a flagship vehicle. The first conceptual reveal of the Kizashi series was at the 2007 International Motor Show in Frankfurt. Concept Kizashi 2 was then unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, introducing Suzuki's new design language. "Kizashi means 'prelude' in Japanese," said Mark Harano, president, American Suzuki Automotive Operations, "and that's exactly what this design represents for Suzuki from both a business and a product standpoint. Suzuki Kizashi 3 Concept embodies our brand character, reflects our heritage, and showcases our design strength and engineering proficiency. With customers in 192 countries and regions, Suzuki is truly a global brand, and the approaching model continues our mission to build the image of our automotive products in North America and eventually match our bikes' reputation."
