American Suzuki Motor Corp. (ASMC) showed up at the 2010 New York International Auto Show for the global introduction of its 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport. It will only be available on Kizashi GTS and SLS trim levels, and is scheduled to go on sale in the US this August; pricing to be announced soon.
"The response to the 2010 Kizashi has been tremendous, so we're very excited to be providing an option for those looking for a luxurious and powerful sport sedan," said Koichi Suzuki, executive vice president American Suzuki Automotive Operations.
Borrowing from the 2010 Kizashi's sleek and sophisticated curb appeal, the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport boasts a more muscular front fascia, chrome accents, light-weight 18-inch alloy wheels, and a lowered ride height to improve aerodynamics and better grip.
The interior features a custom sport steering wheel with perforated leather grip and contrasting stitching on the leather seats, shifter boot, and emergency brake boot (for black leather interiors). The driver-centric design, form-fitting sport seats, and cockpit add to the performance feel.
