Porsche upgrader TechArt offers its own individualization options for the newest Porsche Boxster and Porsche Cayman models. Features include two Aerokits, daytime running lights, a set of sport springs, carbon interior packages, and more. "Our upgrade options not only enhance the exterior but also the interior, fulfilling our clients' desire for greater individual exclusivity," says Tobias Beyer, spokesperson for TechArt Automobil GmbH.
TÜV certified Aerokits
The new Aerokits I+II from PU-RIM feature components which were tested in a wind tunnel, giving them improved drag coefficients. Also, the downforce of both axles is increased. The important Aerokit components are a front spoiler, plus a spoiler lip that matches the car's color, side sills, and a rear area optimized in terms of design and aerodynamics. The functional rear spoiler and a rear apron with a diffuser make for more stability at high speeds. To finish it off, there are two round TechArt exhaust tailpipes in both glossy and black chrome effect for a powerful exhaust flow.
New daytime running lights system in the Aerokit II
A practical multifunctional daytime running lights system was also developed for both TechArt's Boxster-based Roadster design and its Cayman-based TechArt GT design. These LED system units bring together daytime, idle, and parking lights all in one housing. They are placed in the top part of the front spoiler, and the light intensity automatically adjusts to the selected driving lights setting. In addition, the daytime lights dim when either of the turning signals is active, maximizing visibility.
Sporty chassis
The new individualization options are also evident in both the Porsche Boxster and Porsche Cayman's chassis. 19- and 20-inch aluminum wheels transfer the power of both 2.9 and 3.4 liter engines to the ground. The TechArt Formula, Formula II, and Formula III forged wheels are designed to provide abundant ventilation and show off the braking systems. TechArt's set of sport springs also ensures that the car responds to the steering wheel while the Vario and VarioPlus threaded suspension allow the vehicles to be lowered up to 30 mm. TechArt recommends installing Conti Pneu Sport Contact 3 tires for maximum grip.
Exclusive interiors
Since TechArt runs its own saddlery, it offers a variety of custom interior designs. For instance, they can completely furnish the interior with quality leather and decorative seams in contrasting colors. Furthermore, the carbon interior packages I+II provide even more possibilities for styling the ornamentation. Accessories like aluminum sport pedals, a 3-spoked sport steering wheel, and illuminated entry sills with individual logos are also available.
