TechArt Porsche Cayman S
Just when you thought the Porsche Cayman S could not get any more powerful, TechArt Automobildesign comes through with their TA 087S/C1 performance tuning kit. This kit, which can be installed directly at the company or through any authorized Porsche dealer, increases the power output of the top-of-the-line model by 15 hp/11 kW, making it even more responsive with up to 310 hp/228 kW. Acceleration from 0 - 100 km/h improves by half a second, and the top speed increases by some 5 km/h.
To further complement the power upgrade, TechArt exhaust tuning is available in various versions, including black chrome dual tailpipes, a throttle-controlled sport exhaust system, and a complete high-performance exhaust system with sport catalysts and rear muffler.
The sporty TechArt looks continue with a design-focused aerodynamic-enhancement kit. The TechArt front spoiler, which is mounted to the production bumper, combines with TechArt side sills to reduce the airflow between the front and rear wheel housings while adding a more dynamic appearance. An additional rear spoiler is provided to further optimize the lifting affect on the rear axle. Not to forget the custom-tailored tire/wheel combination of lightweight one-piece TechArt Formula wheels, available for the new Cayman in 17-, 18-, 19- or 20-inch diameters.
The TechArt suspensions are also custom-calibrated, providing owners with the option to select between sport springs for a 25 - 30 millimeters ride-height lowering or a tighter set up sport suspension developed in cooperation with Bilstein.
For the interior lovers, TechArt Automobildesign also creates one-of-a-kind interiors in all colors and designs, including exclusive fully leather interiors and ergonimic airbag sport steering wheels. Additionally, they offer aluminum foot pedals, shift knobs and foot rests, as well as stainless-steel sill plates with the TechArt logo.
