TechArt Porsche 911 Turbo GTstreet
The new TechArt GTstreet, based on the 911 Turbo of the latest 997 series, is an evolutionary stage of the fascinating 2001 TechArt GTstreet concept. It now starts at 245,000 Euros MSRP. Its 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat engine has been modified by the TechArt engine specialists to deliver 630 hp / 463 kW at 6,800 rpm, up from standard 480 hp / 353 kW, and a peak torque of 820 Nm at 4,500 rpm. This is achieved through the use of two special VTG turbochargers, a new air box with sport air filter, high-performance manifolds, and intercoolers, and a stainless-steel sport exhaust system with high-performance catalysts, all working in harmony with a newly programmed engine management system. The transmission has also been modified, with a TechArt gear-throw shortening for power to be transferred to all four wheels. This combination of powerful engine and perfected transmission delivers remarkable 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.2 seconds, 200 km/h after 10.9 seconds and a top speed of 345 km/h. A body kit, designed for minimal drag and optimal aerodynamic downforce, creates a striking yet efficient design.
