Toyota Australia's new flagship sedan, the Toyota Aurion V6, is tailored to meet the exacting needs of buyers of large cars. This vehicle is equipped with an advanced and powerful 3.5L Quad Cam V6 engine, which uses 95-octane unleaded regular petrol to generate 200kW of power at 6200rpm and 336Nm of torque at 4700rpm. Fuel economy is also remarkable at 9.9L/100km*. However, when running on 95-octane unleaded fuel, the engine power output rises to 204kW. Featuring a six-speed automatic sequential gearbox, all Aurion grades are also fitted with Vehicle Stability Control (VSC). Higher than its six-cylinder rivals in the VFACTS large passenger category, the Aurion V6 has four stars on the Federal Government's Green Vehicle Guide, and exceeds the Euro IV emissions standard. From $34,990*, the Aurion V6 range comes with the aforementioned engine, accompanied with a host of other features, such as an adaptive electronic six-speed automatic transmission, six SRS airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, anti-lock brakes with Brake Assist and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, air conditioning, power driver's seat, cruise control, power windows and mirrors, remote central locking, dual exhaust and security alarm. According to David Buttner, Senior Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for Toyota Australia, Aurion – built at the company's Altona manufacturing plant in Melbourne – is a testament to Toyota's vision for the future of Australian six-cylinder cars.
