Toyota Avalon Touring
The Toyota Avalon has been completely redesigned since the previous generations. It is the Japanese brand's largest sedan model, and comes with plenty of features like a 3.5 L 280 hp V6 engine (2GR-FE). This power plant is shared with the Lexus ES 350. The new 2005 Avalon, unveiled at the North American International Auto Show, has a much more stylish appearance than previous iterations, which had a more conservative style. There are no more front bench seats available for this new model. It is offered in XL, Touring, XLS and Limited trim levels.
For the 2006 model year, power dropped to 268 hp and torque decreased to 248 ft·lbf due to SAE specs. The stability control system has been extended to the XL and Touring versions, and the Limited models are fitted with a keyless remote start as standard.
