From its custom body to the 17-inch alloys and Goodyear 225/45 rubber, this car pays an homage to Group B rallying and is all about the joy of driving. Feel every move of the engine with no electronic handling aids, no power steering and no ABS. Equipped with Toyota's 1.8 VVT-i engine taken from the Celica and MR2 Roadster, this custom piece of motor is turbocharged for an increased power output of 200 DIN hp and torque of 240Nm to reach max speeds of 127 mph (est) and 0-62 mph in 5.75 s.
To keep the engine cool on those marathons and drifting sessions, a bespoke cooling system with a foot-long aluminium radiator maintains performance throughout. With a weight of 1,050kg, the MR2 Roadster's MacPherson struts, Tein adjustable dampers and Fiesta track widenings come into play to handle the increased power.
The cabin, designed and crafted by expert coachtrimmers O'Rourke, comes with purpose-built sports seats and four-point safety harnesses. Carbon fibre from Toyota's 200mph race cars in the American Champ Car series adorns the rear wing and to complete the look, bold Toyota Aygo "Crazy Concept" decals and original "T2 4YGO" number plate.
