Toyota Verso 2010 posters

Toyota Verso

The Toyota Verso is a no-compromise MPV that combines the flexibility and practicality of a multi-purpose vehicle with the driving experience of a passenger car. When Toyota introduced the Space Cruiser in 1984, they became one of the pioneers in the MPV segment. They entered the C segment market in 2002 with the Corolla Verso, which was based off existing C segment models. In 2009, the company changed the name of its C-MPV to the Toyota Verso and created a new platform tailored to meet the changing demands of today's MPV customers. This indicates the shift from the C-segment to a segment of its own. Recent statistics have reported that the C-MPV segment has grown to represent 8.4% of the European market and is the fifth-largest segment. Customers are attracted to the Toyota Verso for its versatility, roominess, and comfort. In 2009, the company aims to sell 57,000 vehicles—predominately to families (57%) as well as to empty nesters (28%) who need a vehicle to accommodate their active lifestyles.
