Toyota Tundra CrewMax

At the 2009 Chicago Auto Show, Toyota unveiled the 2010 Toyota Tundra full-size pickup truck, along with a new 4.6-liter V8 engine. There are two packages available - the Tundra Platinum Package and the Tundra Work Truck. Various exterior, mechanical, safety, and convenience upgrades have been made to all 2010 Tundra models, boosting their value. The 4.6-liter V8 engine will be available on every model-year 2010 Toyota Tundra. With 310 horsepower, 327 lb-ft. of torque, and preliminary fuel efficiency rates of 15 city mpg and 20 highway mpg, this powerful engine is expected to provide the best combination of power and fuel efficiency in the full-size pickup segment. Just like the 5.7-liter V8 engine available as an option, the 4.6-liter V8 is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2010 Toyota Tundra CrewMax Limited models, with the optional 5.7-liter V8 and Flex Fuel powertrains, can have the Platinum Package added for additional refinement and convenience. This package comes with a wide range of features, the combination of which makes the CrewMax Limited almost monospec. The Platinum Package has a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $5,140 and includes: a billet-style Limited grade grille with chrome bumpers, 20-inch alloy wheels and tires, daytime running lamps, door sill protectors featuring a Platinum logo, and Platinum badging.
