TVR Sagaris

The TVR Sagaris is an iconic sports car that was debuted at the MPH03 Auto Show in 2003. This innovative model was then showcased at the 2004 Birmingham Motorshow before being released for public sale at TVR dealerships around the world. Its powerful TVR Speed Six engine with a 3996 cc (4.0L) displacement and 400 bhp (298 kW) @ 7000 rpm, ensured that this was a car that could go the extra mile. Inspired by the sagaris, a lightweight battle-axe used by the Scythians which was feared for its ability to penetrate the armor of their enemies, the car was designed with endurance racing in mind by Graham Browne. Its multitude of air vents, intake openings and other features on the bodywork allowed the car to be driven for extended periods of time on race tracks, no modifications required for cooling and ventilation. The Sagaris also included independent double wishbones, coil-over gas dampers, sway bars, 18 in aluminum alloy wheels, carbon fiber body panels, and ventilated disc brakes for both the front and back, all while only weighing 2513 lb (1140 kg). Performance wise, its estimated top speed was 190 mph (310 km/h), and it can reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.6 seconds.
