Vauxhall Agila 2004 posters

Vauxhall Agila

The Vauxhall Agila was released to both UK and European markets in the summer of 2000, and is essentially a rebadged version of Suzuki's Wagon R. This city car was built in Poland, and was equipped with Opel's 1.0L and 1.2L gasoline engines - more powerful and more refined than the 1.3L found in the European-market Wagon R. At a very low asking price, the Agila came with five doors, making it a much more attractive alternative to the three-door European market city cars. It also has a very unique shape, being as tall as similarly-sized Korean city cars like the Hyundai Atos and Kia Picanto. Production of the Suzuki Wagon R moved from the production plant in Hungary to the General Motors Manufacturing Poland facility in Gliwice, Poland in 2005.
