The Vauxhall Antara has been upgraded for the 2011 model year, showcasing a bold new design along with improved engine power and efficiency. An all-new engine line-up comprises two diesel units which meet Euro 5 emissions standards and guarantee improved driving performance without compromising on consumption and emissions. Both the six-speed manual and automatic transmissions are newly developed for the Vauxhall Antara. The engine comes in two output levels, with the powerhouse 184PS diesel developing maximum torque of 400Nm at just 2000rpm and a 0-60mph time of 9.6 seconds. Despite its performance, the diesel still returns an impressive 42.8mpg and 175g/km of CO2.
The exterior of the Vauxhall Antara has a refreshed design that combines off-road flair with a hint of urban chic, highlighted by the newly designed front grille whose dynamic V form continues up to the A-pillars.
