Vauxhall GTC Paris Concept
The Vauxhall GTC Paris Concept is a stylish and versatile car that can seat up to five people, boasting a length of 4.46 metres. Robust yet streamline, the concept has limited lines emphasizing its key features, including Vauxhall's trademark blade running along the rocker panel, a second line extending from the door handle to the rear, and a third line along the roof finished in brushed aluminium. At the front, the car is confidently marked with slim, eagle-eye shaped headlamps and LED running lights, as well as a bonnet with a center line crease. For a sleek look, the rear features LED tail lights and a “wing” night time graphic.
The concept embraces a specially designed chassis with an extra-wide stance and includes a number of technologies, such as an electronic limited slip differential and an updated version of Vauxhall's FlexRide adaptive damping system. The car is powered by a four-cylinder 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with direct petrol injection and Start/Stop technology.
Inside, the cabin features sweeping lines and shapes, a unique use of fabric and micro-fibres, black leather racing steering wheel, and polished chrome door grabs. For a "positive/negative" effect, the driver's seat is trimmed in red with black highlights while the front passenger's seat has black trim with red highlights. Finishings such as the Vauxhall GTC logo on the seat-backs, titanium inserts, and the gearshift moulding add touches of sophistication.
