After competing 10,000 kilometres of arduous testing at the notorious Nürburgring Circuit, the
Vauxhall Insignia VXR hatch and saloon are ready to up the ante in their sector with a powerful mix of performance, practicality and superior dynamics.
The Vauxhall Insignia VXR Sports Tourer will be joining the lineup this autumn, offering even greater flexibility. It is packed with the same technical highlights as the hatch and saloon, and has class-rivalling luggage capacity when the rear seats are in use. It is Vauxhall's most powerful estate car to date and is the only one in the series to feature Adaptive 4x4 and an eLSD.
It is 10 millimetres lower than the regular Sports Tourer and is fitted with the HiPerStrut system, which reduces torque-steer and preserves negative camber when cornering while boosting wet and dry grip levels. The standard 19-inch alloy wheels (optional 20-inch lightweight forged alloys) are equipped with custom tyres and Brembo brakes with matching callipers and vented/cross-drilled discs. Bumpers and dampers also have revised settings.
