Vauxhall Meriva
The Vauxhall Meriva is a mini MPV developed on the same platform as the third generation Opel Corsa. It's sold across Europe and the UK under the Vauxhall brand, along with being available in Mexico and Argentina as the Chevrolet Meriva. It's been produced since late 2002 by General Motors do Brasil and the Opel plant in Zaragoza, Spain.
The Meriva can be found with petrol and turbodiesel engines in the range 1.3-1.8L, giving power outputs from 70PS (51kW) to 125PS (92kW). The base model comes with Easytronic (sequential manual) transmission.
Like the Zafira, the Meriva is kitted out with a FlexSpace interior. Seating five passengers across two rows, the second row can be moved back or folded into the floor, maximizing cargo space. At full capacity, the back seat takes up three passengers, while it can be separated into two individual seats for increased passenger comfort. Even with the back folded fully back, the three passengers still have an ample legroom available. The Meriva brings generous boot capacity, and further enhanced when the second row is laid flat.
