Volkswagen Eos
At the IAA 2005, Volkswagen unveiled their new convertible coupé, the Volkswagen Eos, which became the world's first four-seater car to boast the five-section CSC roof. Combining the characteristics of a coupé, a sliding and a convertible roof, the Eos had a consistently new design to make it look both elegant and sporty. The CSC roof allowed for a short windscreen and a compact rear, creating a classic convertible-like appearance. Also, the Eos would not only be launching in Europe in 2006, but it would be marketed on all five continents.
