Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 30
To mark its 30th anniversary, Volkswagen has unveiled the special model Golf GTI Edition 30, which features an impressive 230 bhp performance. The design of the vehicle was first showcased at the Golf Record Day in Gelsenkirchen in May 2006, and was met with praise from enthusiasts across Europe.
The main aspects of the design are a set of 18-inch Matt Black "Detroit" alloy wheels, front and rear aprons and side trim all in the vehicle colour, cherry red rear lights, and Edition 30 lettering at the rear. Opting for the titan silver wheels "Rockingham" is also an available, no-cost option.
The interior of the vehicle has a plethora of features. It includes leather elements on the top sport seats with the classic GTI "Interlagos" checked design in the centre, red stitching on the three-spoke leather steering wheel, gearshift lever, handbrake lever, and door sill. There is also a deco strip in "brushed aluminium" above the glove compartment and Edition 30 lettering, and foot mats with red edges. Finishing off the interior is a gearshift lever with a golf ball design, fitting of the birthday of this special edition.
The Golf GTI Edition 30 comes at a cost of 28,175 euro (manual gearbox), or 29,925 euro (double clutch gearbox DSG). Volkswagen Bank has attractive financing packages on offer, with three way financing package "AutoCredit" available from a down payment of 20 percent with monthly payments starting at 247 euro over a 48 month period, and an APR of 1.9 percent
