The latest addition to the successful Golf product line-up is the Volkswagen Golf Variant. Unveiled at the 2007 International Geneva Motor Show, this wagon is spacious and highly variable.
The Golf lineup consists of four distinct versions. The first is the classic Golf, which includes the GT, GTI, and R32 variants. The second is the Golf Plus, with and elevated seating position and a longitudinally adjustable rear seat. The third is the Jetta, which, while not formally labeled a Golf, is one at its core. And now, the fourth, the VW Golf Variant, available with a TDI output providing 77kW / 105PS, with fuel economy of 5.2 liters per 100 km and CO2 emissions of 137g/km.
More than 6.1 million Golf Variants have been sold worldwide since their first introduction 45 years ago.
