To develop it, Volkswagen Individual GmbH modified the Golf GTI engine to create 270 PS of power, and combined it with 4Motion all-wheel drive and a DSG dual clutch transmission for unbeatable driving performance. On the exterior, the classic Golf radiator grille is complemented with an aerodynamic front bumper featuring three large air inlets, Xenon headlamps with LED technology, two twin-fluted tailpipes, a diffuser, 19 inch alloy wheels, and a sport chassis lowered by 20 millimeters. The interior features upgraded leather sport bucket seats with an R-Logo, painted door handle recesses, and a powerful 1,400 Watt high-end sound system with 13 loudspeakers, three output amplifiers and a powerful 880 Watt subwoofer.
