The Volkswagen Passat R GT offers a technical concept from HPA Motorsports, featuring a 575-bhp, 3.2-liter Twin Turbo MPI (non FSI) V6 engine with the Twin Turbo conversion Package. This includes dual Garrett GT25 ball-bearing-based turbochargers, HGP exhaust manifolds with integrated turbine housings, a cast aluminum short runner intake manifold, dual air-to-air intercoolers, dual 3-in. (70-mm) ceramic-coated down pipes, and an upgraded fuel system. The car also has a quad by-pass emissions-legal exhaust system, 4MOTION® system, KW Variant 3 Coilover suspension, and Brembo performance brake system with 365 x 34-mm front discs and Brembo 8-piston monobloc calipers, and 365 x 22-mm rear discs, as well as DSGTM transmission featuring lengthened gears and sport-shifting calibrations.
For the interior and exterior of the Volkswagen Passat R GT, Volkswagen Design Center California (DCC) provides a Candy White color with contrast graphics, 19 x 9.5-in. custom-built forged aluminum modular Avus® wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport2 245/30R19 tires, new front and rear bumper fascias and side rocker panels, a rear spoiler, and Llumar glass treatment. The interior includes black leather, white piano lacquer, dual white Apple iPod in the arm rest, dual white Sony PSP in the seatbacks, and a full navigation with the highest-option sound system. The basic car for conversion is a European version 2006 Passat B6 sedan 3.2-liter, V6 FSI, DSG, and 4MOTION.
