Volkswagen has optimised the Touareg for sustainability, following in the footsteps of the successful Tiguan. The SUV has been lightened by 208 kilograms in its base version, yet it has improved torsional rigidity by 5 per cent. It has been designed with a smaller frontal area, and its aerodynamic features have been further improved.
