It also has a range of six new petrol and diesel engines that reduce fuel consumption and emissions to unheard of levels. On the top of the lineup is the Volkswagen Touran TDI BlueMotion Technology (77 kW / 105 PS), delivering a best-in-class 4.6 l/100 km fuel consumption and 121 g/km CO2 emissions.
Introducing the 1.2-litre TSI petrol engine with 105 PS, Volkswagen provides a powerful yet economical option. It delivers strong 175 Newton-metres of torque from just above idle speed, while consuming only 6.4 l/100 km fuel in combined mode and 149 g/km CO2 emissions. For even better efficiency, VW offers this variant with BlueMotion Technology and the Start/Stop system, reducing combined fuel consumption to 5.9 l/100 km and CO2 emissions to only 139 g/km.
